Mozambique Music Meeting (MMM) is calling on musicians to submit applications to perform at the 2019 event in Maputo from 4 to 8 December.

The annual event is intended to give artists access to an audience of industry professionals, international media and new fans.
Applications are open to all genres and artists from all SADC countries.
Interested artists should use this link to apply. The submission deadline is 31 July. All applicants will be notified of their status on or before 1 August.
Rules
- Selected artists will be guaranteed at least one showcase slot, but may have more.
- Showcase slots run an average of 40 minutes
- Slots will be scheduled between 4 and 8 December, generally between 3pm and 2am (exceptions do apply)
- Venue, time and date assignment will vary.
- MMM do provide artists a basic backline but do not cover travel and accommodation expenses.
- If selected to showcase, performing members will receive MMM 2019 artist wristbands. Artist wristbands grant access to official MMM 2019 showcases, talks and debates, professional meetings, parties, networking opportunities and more (unless otherwise noted).
- Some acts may be scheduled for more than one official showcase.
- All invited acts will have the opportunity to access all MMM events to directly engage with other MMM participants in advance and during the event.

Mozambique Music Meeting, the first showcase festival and music market in Mozambique gets even better.
MMM2019 will now be an international music showcase festival and music market, showcasing artists and musics from the SADC region and lusophone countries.
The first edition of the Mozambique Music Meeting – MMM2017 – was 100% Mozambican and it was a great success. It achieved its main goals of putting Mozambican Music and Artists on the global map and establishing MMM as an important showcase festival & music market. The high profile international delegates were impressed by the level of quality of the event and the performance of the artists.
Several artists managed, as a direct consequence of MMM2017, to sign deals for international tours for 2018. These include the following:

Showcase applications are free of charge. All applicants will be notified of their status on or before August 1, 2019.
Artists from the following country are legible to register:
SADC: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Democratic, Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia & Zimbabwe.
Lusophone: Guiné-Bissau, Portugal, Angola, Cabo Verde, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe & Timor-Leste.
